Man punched after row in Essex Road, Dartford

A man was taken to hospital after reportedly being punched in the face by a group of men.

The assault took place in Essex Road, Dartford, and it is alleged the victim was approached by a large gang and hit following a verbal altercation.

He was also reportedly assaulted by a third suspect who got out of a BMW 1 Series. The victim suffered facial injuries that required hospital treatment.

One of the men was black with long curly hair and around 6ft. He was wearing dark-coloured clothing.

Another was white with blonde hair and blue eyes, and around 5ft 10ins. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black jacket.

The passenger of the BMW was described as a tall, white man, with blonde hair.

Following initial inquiries, including a review of CCTV in the area, investigating officers would now like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, which happened just after 2.45pm on Sunday, May 14.

Residents with CCTV or drivers with dashcam footage are also asked to check for relevant footage.
