Ten-man Charlton Athletic held on for a point against Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park in League 1 on Saturday.

The Addicks were were reduced to 10 men when Christian Dailly (pictured) was dismissed for kicking out at Reuben Reid after 34 minutes.

It was Dailly's third red card of the season and results in a season-ending five-match ban.

Addicks boss Chris Powell was forced into a reshuffle following Dailly’s departure with Jonathan Fortune coming on for Therry Racon.

Oldham tried to make their extra man count in the second half and Cedric Evina went on a good run, but his shot was well tipped round the post by debutant keeper John Sullivan.

Fortune headed Reid’s cross away and Ritchie Jones headed an Aidan White cross just over as the bar.

Sullivan then made another great stop from Evina as the Addicks kept the home side at bay.

Oumare Tounkare's effort at a corner ended up in the back of the Charlton net, but the flag was already up.

Jean Yves Mvoto then headed straight at Sullivan when he should have scored as Charlton snatched a point.
