Defender Paul Goodacre is talking to a Ryman League Premier Division club about a loan move in an effort to get more match practice after his recent 11-week lay-off with a knee injury.

Dartford boss Tony Burman wouldn’t name the club but ruled out him going to any of their Kent rivals and said everything should be completed ahead of the weekend

Meanwhile, Burman’s stance on chasing Woking hasn’t changed, despite closing the gap which was 11 points at the end of January to only six points.

He said: "We are not going to shout about doing this and that because it’s all about what we do. We will just be trying to win every game and keep the gap between us and sixth place to 16 points.

"It’s still a big ask to catch Woking, getting to the play-offs is still our priority, anything above that will be a bonus."
