Police hunt Dartford phone mugger

A police hunt is on for a man who punched a young teenager in Dartford and then stole his BlackBerry mobile phone.

The attack happened on West Hill on Sunday night at about 9.30pm at the junction with an alley to Trinity Gardens.

The suspect is described as black, 5ft 6ins tall, aged approximately 16 or 17 years old and wearing grey jogging bottoms, a grey hooded top with blue diagonal writing. He had a shaved head and was of medium build.

The thief punched him in the chest, and took the phone from the victim's pocket. He was then threatened before his attacker walked towards the junction with Highfield Road.
