THREE young men have appeared before a court charged with the murder of a 51-year-old man.

Samuel Powell, 22, Jimmy Powell, 23, and Phillip Powell, 25, are each accused of the murder of William Lee, of Ship Lane, Sutton-at-Hone, near Dartford.

All three were remanded in custody by magistrates in Maidstone on Wednesday. They will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, September 24. Are all unemployed and come from Star Lane, St Mary Cray, Orpington.

Mr Lee died in hospital three days after an incident outside his home on Sunday, August 26, in which he suffered a serious leg injury.
