Trains into and out of London into parts of Kent are being cancelled or disrupted due to an emergency incident.

Southeastern said services between Lewisham and Nunhead have been blocked, while other trains will be diverted via London Bridge.

The exact nature of the incident, in Nunhead, south-east London, has not yet been confirmed, but emergency crews are at the scene and the current to the tracks has been switched off.

Some trains to Dartford via Bexleyheath and from the capital to Gillingham have already been cancelled and later services tonight are predicted to be running, but with delays.

Southeastern is warning that disruption is expected until the end of operations tonight. Tickets are being accepted on London Underground services between London terminals
