Police appeal after young men seen throwing stones at cars on A2 bridge near Darenth Interchange

A woman's car windscreen was damaged by teenagers seen hurling stones from a motorway bridge.

The youngsters were spotted launching the missiles at vehicles on the A2 near the Darenth Interchange.

The woman was driving coast-bound when an object hit and damaged her windscreen shortly before 9.40am on Monday, November 23.

When she looked back, she reported seeing three young men throwing stones from a bridge crossing the carriageway.

Police are now urging anyone with information to call them on 01474 366149 quoting reference XY/41305/15 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
