Charlton v Cardiff

Relegated Charlton skipper Mark Hudson will be putting a clean sheet at the top of his priority list ahead of Tuesday night's game at home to Cardiff.

Hudson knows that the Addicks' failure to stop leaking goals has been the major factor in their relegation to League 1.

"We conceded too many goals,” he said. "That's why you lose games. That's been part of the problem but we've been quite disjointed throughout the season; there have been lots of changes with people coming and going and the manager departing. There are lots of little bits and bobs that all add up.

"You like to have a settled side in this league and the teams at the top seem to have that with their starting XI and a couple who come off the bench. It does make it hard to gel but that's the situation we've been in and we've had to deal with it.”

Charlton boss Phil Parkinson has to decide whether to make any changes from the team that threw away a two-goal lead to draw with Blackpool on Saturday. Cardiff come into the game on the back of a six-goal thrashing at Preston last weekend.
