Canvey v Dartford

Dartford go into their trip to Canvey with an eye on the Ryman League Premier Division play-offs.

With three wins from their last four games, optimism is returning at the halfway stage of the season and last Saturday’s 2-0 win at second-placed Carshalton underlined Darts' potential.

"We’re not far behind the pack," said manager Tony Burman.

"There’s another half season to go – another 21 games – and some of those sides that have done well in the first half might falter."

Darts have three players, Danny Dafter, John White and Adam Gross suspended, for Saturday's trip to Canvey Island.

Gross’ loan deal expires after this weekend but Burman has agreed a deal with Blue Square Premier side Grays to keep the defender for another month.
