Welling boss Loui Fazakerley has urged his team to find their killer touch in front of goals.

Fazakerley felt his team lacked composure in front of goal after a frustrating 1-1 draw on Saturday with Torquay, who played with 10 men for more than an hour.

"I'm very frustrated," said Fazakerley. "We had more than enough chance so to go on and win that game.

"We had enough to create chances. It comes down to the end product in the final third.

"It's down to having that last bit of composure. When things are not going your way you tend to snatch at things a bit. The keeper has pulled off a good save from George Porter.

"We could do with a bit of luck and someone getting one in off their knee or a rebound."

Fazakerley is refusing to press the panic button, however, despite Welling now going eight games without a win ahead of trips to Aldershot on Tuesday and Gateshead this Saturday.

He added: "It could get to us if we let it. The performance level wasn’t as high as it has been recently against Torquay.

"But the positive is that we are creating chances and if we stop giving away soft goals then the least we do is win that game 1-0.

"We have to focus on clean sheets as we know we can get a goal.

"We've got back to back away games and we'll be positive. We’re going to start with high intensity and hopefully bounce back with three points."

Zach Fagan (hamstring) could return at Aldershot while Harry Osborne (hamstring) is due to be assessed on Monday. Barney Williams reported no reaction after making his first appearance of the campaign for the Wings on Saturday.
