Dover Castle weekend

YOUNGSTERS can step back in time and into the shoes of a secret agent at Dover Castle over this Bank Holiday weekend.
From 10am to 5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, families can take part in code cracking and cipher decoding sessions and find out how real double agents hid secret information in every day items, before making some spy gadgets themselves.
They can hear the fascinating story of how a refugee family came to England 250 years ago and went on to invent some of our finest games.
They can also find out if they have what it takes to be "Q" in the James Bond films with the aid of a blanket and chess set.
Energetic youngsters can limber up in the spy assault course before recruitment begins for ‘barmy army drill’ sessions running throughout each day.Admission is £10 for adults £10, £8 concessions, £6 for children and £25 for a family ticket plus £1 for an accompanying child.
English Heritage Members are admitted free, plus £1 per accompanying child.
