Now a bench dedicated to his memory has been unveiled at his school, Goodwin Academy in Deal.

His father Mark told Kent Online: "We had hoped to install the bench earlier in the year but that was delayed, for example by poor weather.

"But now it's been done and it was lovely of the school to allow a bench to be placed here for him."

The dedication ceremony included a school pal of Liam's playing guitar at the start and end and others reading out poetry.

Attending with Mr Evans were Liam's mother Tiffany and siblings, Robbie, Ellouise and twins Teddy and Frankie.

Also there was the family's new baby, one-month-old Millie.

Liam, of Churchill Avenue, Walmer died on December 12, 2019 at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

He died of neck injuries after being found unconscious next to his bunk bed the evening before.

A coroner at inquest in March recorded a conclusion of misadventure as it was unclear from the evidence what had happened.

Family members downstairs had heard noise coming from his room but thought he was training for boxing.
