Pensioners warned after purse snatch

KENT'S pensioners are again being urged to keep their purses out of sight after a 75-year-old woman had hers snatched from her bag while shopping in Deal.

Town Centre constable, PC Roy Bush, is warning people to be on their guard after the incident near the Somerfield supermarket.

Shoppers are being advised to keep their purses in an inside pocket or in a bag that can be zipped up.

A man from Folkestone has been arrested in connection with the purse snatch incident in Deal.
