Train services between Dover and Canterbury have resumed following an incident when someone was hit on the railway line.

The incident is believed to be in the River area, between Dover and Kearsney stations.

Emergency services have been at the scene and the air ambulance may have attended.

Train services were suspended for several hours and a replacement bus service operated between Dover Priory and Canterbury East. Normal services resumed this evening.
