Boy struck by car 'stable'

A BOY of nine from Dover is in hospital with serious head injuries after being in collision with a car.

The incident happened on the A258 near the Duke of York roundabout, at about 4.30pm on Monday.

Ambulance crews from Dover were called to the scene. Paramedics took the boy to the Kent and Canterbury Hospital. He has since been transferred to Kings College Hospital in London, and his condition is described as stable but serious.
