Dover man Alexander Corbett charged with theft, drink driving, cocaine and knife offences after robbery in Elms Vale Road

A Dover man has been charged with theft, possessing cocaine and having a knife after a robbery in the town.

Kent Police received a report of a robbery at a premises in Elms Vale Road, Dover at 3.19pm on Thursday, June 18.

A man was arrested near Northbourne Road in connection with the incident shortly afterwards.

Alexander Corbett, 37, of Clarendon Place, Dover, was charged with drink driving, possession of a blade in a public place, theft, possession of an article for use in fraud, possession of cocaine, and assault by beating.

He remains in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, June 19.)
