Cash and tobacco stolen from home in Colton Crescent, Dover

Thieves stole cash and tobacco from a property in Dover during an overnight burglary.

It happened in Colton Crescent between 1.15am and 1.40am Monday, May 13.

The victim was reportedly woken up by their dog barking and found the back door open.

A wallet and a purse, both containing a quantity of cash, were stolen along with two tobacco pouches.

Officers investigating the burglary would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident and residents with CCTV or dashcam footage.
