Police, fire brigade and coastguards called to Langdon Cliff, Dover, following fears for man's welfare

The body of a man has been found on a pathway that leads down from Langdon Cliff at Dover.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after being called at around 12.30pm.

The death of the man, aged in his 30s, is not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesman said enquiries were on-going to establish his identity.

A HM Coastguard spokesman said: "Just after 12.30pm today, Kent Police requested HM Coastguard assistance at an incident near Dover Cliffs.

"Deal, Langdon and Folkestone Coastguard Rescue Teams were sent to the location, alongside Kent Police, Kent Fire and Rescue and the South Eastern Ambulance Service."
