Police appeal after racial attack

Police have appealed for information about a racial attack on two teenagers.

The two 16-year-olds were walking along Upper Road by Dover Castle when two women began shouting racist remarks.

A white van stopped and a man got out, punched one of the teenagers, and then drove off with the women.

The incident happened at about 9.45pm on Monday July 14. Police have just issued their appeal.

One of the women was described as white, of large build and about 5ft 4ins.

The other was also white, the same height and of skinny build. She was about 25 years old and had brown hair tied up in a bun.

They were both of scruffy appearance and their accents are described to be “almost cockney.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident or knows the offenders is asked to contact DC Julia Earl on 01304 240055 or call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
