A WORKER was killed in an accident at Dover's Eastern Docks on Tuesday morning.

Dover Harbour Board confirmed that the man was employed by an outside contractor and was engaged in a fendering repair contract.

The Board has informed the Health and Safety Executive and an investigation has started.

A spokesman for the Board expressed their condolences to the man's family.
