DOVER Athletic manager Andy Hessenthaler has admitted it may take time for his new-look side to gel in Ryman League Division 1 South.

But after two years of play-off failure under Clive Walker, the pressure is on Hessenthaler and his squad to pull it off this time.

Hess said: "There are a lot of new players – there's been a big change around at the football club.

"It may take us two or three games to get into it but I'm hoping that's not the case. It's important to get off to a good start in any league."
