WALKER: "I don't want to rock the boat"

DOVER manager Clive Walker is set to stick with the squad he has with 10 league games of the Ryman Premier League season to go.

He has called off his pursuit of Cray Wanderers’ Leigh Bremner after the 20-goal striker turned down a host of offers, including a contract at Dover until the end of next season, to stay with Cray.

Walker said: "I’ve nothing else in the pipeline. If I have to, I will go with what I’ve got - unless we get so down on players that I have to.

"If in doubt, do nowt. We’ve done alright and I don’t want to rock the boat.

"Loan players are alright if you’re desperate, but are they going to try that hard for you?

"I’m going to take a look at the reserves, there might be a couple in there I could use."
