SIOBHAN Hustler has been asked to step down from her role as Miss Folkestone.

She was asked to relinquish title because Folkestone carnival organisers said her pursuit of other glamour and beauty titles compromised her work as the ambassador for the town and was against the contract she signed when she became queen.

She agreed to step down and is now working in the running for European model of the year and Miss England crowns.

Preparations are now being made to choose the new Miss Folkestone for the coming year.
