KENT Police have released an E-fit of a man who attempted to accost a 15-year-old girl as she walked home.

The man followed the teenager from a bus stop at the junction of Hill Road and Dover Road, Folkestone, at around 3.30pm on Monday, December 10. He tried to talk to her and pay her compliments as he did so.

At one stage he grabbed her arm and asked for her mobile phone number. He followed her all the way to her home but left the scene when the girl's parents turned up.

The man is described as being aged 20 to 30, of mixed race appearance, with black spikey hair and a black stripe of hair on his chin. He was wearing a black jacket which had a large tear in the back and a woollen hat.

Anyone who thinks they recognise the man, or who has information, is asked to contact PC Kane Clifford on 01303 850055 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
