Police helicopter joins search for trespasser reportedly walking on railway tracks between Folkestone and Dover

A police helicopter was scrambled to help search for a trespasser on railway tracks in Kent.

The chopper was called in by British Transport Police following reports someone was walking along the line from Folkestone to Dover.

Officers searched on the ground in Folkestone while the helicopter provided aerial support, with all trains put on alert.

But the operation was called off, with no person found.
