Kebab delivery man threatened by gang

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man delivering kebabs in Denmark Street, Folkestone, was threatened by a teenage boy.

The incident happened between 3.15am and 3.45am on Sunday. The house that had seemingly telephoned the order to the kebab shop was in darkness, but then three young males suddenly appeared.

One of them demanded the food without paying for it and when the delivery man refused, he called the other two males and said they had a knife. The delivery man managed to get back in his car and drive away.

The offenders are described as white, aged about 16 and wearing black hooded tops.
