Folkestone to stage national hunt meeting

MONDAY'S National Hunt race meeting at Lingfield has been switched to Folkestone because the Surrey course is waterlogged.

A total of 46 millimetres of rain fell there on Tuesday, so Niall Mackenzie- Ross, clerk of the course at both venues has decided to make the switch after deciding there was no chance of racing

This week's card at Westenhanger was washed out, but Mr Mackenzie-Ross is hopeful racing can take place.
