A man has died after being found on the banks of the Thames at Northfleet.
The unnamed man, said to be in his 60s and from the locality, was picked up from the shore by the Gravesend lifeboat at Northfleet.
Attempts were made to resuscitate him, but an RNLI spokesman said he was probably already dead when they reached him.
Police said they were not treating his death as suspicious, and the North Kent coroner had been informed.
