Second-half goals from Elijah Eastwood and substitute Adam Burton clinched the Gordon Charity Cup for Craggs Farm, who beat Division 1 opponents NK Aces 3-1 at the AEI Sports Ground on Saturday.

After Aces’ striker Bobby Kyla missed an early chance, Farm took the lead through Tony Swann.

Aces had the better chances early in the second half but Farm increased their lead in the 65th minute when Burton’s cross found Eastwood, who scored from close range.

Farm sealed victory through Burton’s header. Taran Bahia scored a consolation goal for Aces.

Gordon Charity Cup secretary Bill Baldwin made the trophy presentation.

Damien Blowers scored four goals as Viewpoint lifted the League Cup A with a 7-2 win against Craggs Farm Reserves at Fleet Leisure.

Farm were in trouble within the first five minutes when Blowers opened his account. Dave Goodwin increased the lead in the 22nd minute before Blowers made it 3-0 by half-time.

Farm came more into the game in the second half only to fall further behind when Blowers scored to complete his hat-trick.

Farm’s Mark Holden raised his team’s spirits with a penalty and, when they were awarded a second spot-kick, Dan Pinder converted to make the score 4-2.

But three goals in the final five minutes from Toby Johnson, Karl Hotchkiss and Blowers secured victory.

League president Roger Bowen presented the Nottons Cup.
