Five men were injured when their 4x4 off-road vehicle collided with a tree in Luddesdown.

One was flown to King’s College Hospital by Kent Air Ambulance, while another was taken to the London hospital by road ambulance after they suffered head and back injuries during the smash just after 4pm on Tuesday.

A third man was treated at Darent Valley Hospital. Two others who had been in the vehicle were examined at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.

All five were aged between 17 and 20.
