Five-vehicle crash blocks A2 London-bound near Gravesend

A five-vehicle crash blocked the London-bound A2 for several hours.

The accident happened at the junction near Singlewell and Gravesend just after 10.45pm last night.

A fire engine attended and the road was closed for three and a half hours.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “At around 10.45pm on Wednesday 20 September 2023, Kent Police was called to a report of a five-vehicle collision on the A2 London-bound near Gravesend.

“Officers attended alongside Kent Fire and Rescue Service. No injuries were reported and the road was cleared by 2.15am on September 21.”
