“The course will provide an in-depth analysis of the background, importance, and key messages of each prayer, enabling attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the prayers' significance within the Sikh faith.”

Taught by Bhai Gurcharan Singh, the three-month-long programme will cover the 7 daily Sikh prayers, Nitnem Bania.

Organiser and committee member Jagjit Singh Dhaliwal said: “These prayers hold immense spiritual significance and encompass the core teachings and values of Sikhi.”

Classes will commence this Sunday May 7 from 5pm in the lecture theatre and will continue until the end of July.

Jagjit said: “We are pleased to be working in collaboration with Basics of Sikhi to bring a variety of Sikh based seminars and lectures that appeal to all ages and backgrounds.
