Jane McDonald wowed the audience at the Woodville on Friday as a part of its 45th anniversary celebrations.

Theatre manager Neil Chandler said Jane broke box office records while audiences were so happy, they sent flowers to members of staff.

He said: “It was a great show, Jane broke box office records for us.

"It was lovely to see the audience really enjoying themselves and we received a lot of positive feedback - including emails from patrons and flowers sent to members of staff thanking them for a great evening.”

"The Woodville has undergone quite a face lift in the past 12 months and the team are both thankful to Gravesham council for its unwavering support and to the patrons who are making all of the hard work worthwhile."

The 45 cake, seen above, was provided by the Egg Free Cake Box in Milton Road, Gravesend.

At the Woodville on September 6, winner of the sixth series of the X factor Joe McElderry will be performing. For more information and tickets, click here.
