Delays after lorry trailer detaches on roundabout near Sainsbury's in Pepper Hill, Northfleet

Motorists have been hit by delays after a lorry trailer detached on a busy roundabout.

Officers have been called to the scene near the Sainsbury's in Pepper Hill, Northfleet.

The trailer has detached from an articulated lorry in Hall Road close to the junction with the A2.

The incident happened shortly after 12.30pm and police remain at the scene.

Officers say arrangements are underway to recover the vehicle.
