Video footage shows the horrifying moment a man is knocked out with a single punch during a row outside McDonald's.

The clip, which KentOnline has chosen not to run in full, shows friends trying to help the stricken victim who is left out cold in the middle of New Road, Gravesend.

Violence erupted outside the fast food restaurant at 1.20am on Saturday.

A man was taken to hospital but later discharged himself, and inquiries are ongoing.

Police confirmed today no arrests have been made.

A statement from McDonald's confirmed that their team in New Road "contacted the emergency services and provided support for an injured party following an incident which took place outside of the restaurant on Saturday morning."

It added: "We are assisting police with their inquiries."
