Organised by Cohesion Plus, the free event – in Ebbsfleet Garden City – will see the green space filled with light displays, street performers, LED light shows and a DJ.

Artistic director Gurvinder Sandher said: "This year will again prove to be a very trying time for a lot of people with worries around the cost of living crisis as well as persistent international turmoil.

"As such, the whole point of the event is to bring light and cheer to local residents during a time which has the darkest nights and chilliest of weather.

"We promise this event will dazzle as much as last year’s if not more. So please make sure you come down to enjoy all the magic."

It has been produced in partnership with Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, Same Sky and supported by KKB Construction.

The community event was run for the first time last year and had an attendance of more than 1,000 people.

Springhead Magical Winter Garden will be open on Saturday, January 28, between 4pm and 8pm.
