It is alleged the Hulusis caused £2,000 of damage by smashing windows at the site on March 1 before returning just after midnight nine days later and torching the gym.

The pair are also accused of smashing more windows 10 days later and on three other occasions in June and July.

No pleas were entered and both were released on unconditional bail to attend Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday, March 13.

Cygnet's gym remained closed until November.
