Secondary school children in Gravesham will soon be able to have unlimited bus travel at any time for an annual fee of £50.
A Kent County Council roadshow was held in Gravesend last Thursday to promote the Kent Freedom pass scheme which is being implemented in the borough from June.
Gravesham Borough Council leader Cllr Mike Snelling said: “This is very welcome news and fits very well with this council’s policies on Young Gravesham.
“Giving young people the freedom of travel is a vital part of the promotion of events for them and their potential involvement in new initiatives.”
