Bad day at the office for Fleet

GRAVESEND suffered their second defeat in a row as they were comfortably beaten at Stevenage Borough on Saturday.

The home side took the lead on 25 minutes when former Fleet player John Nutter scored from the spot after Peter Hawkins had handled Adam Miller's cross.

It was 2-0 17 minutes from time when Stevenage top scorer Steve Morison side-footed home from eight yards.

Any hopes that Gravesend may have had of a comeback were dashed on 76 minutes when substitute Jon Nurse headed in George Boyd's free-kick.
