LIAM DAISH: aiming to keep run going

Dorchester V Ebbsfleet

EBBSFLEET boss Liam Daish insists his side are taking the FA Trophy seriously ahead of their second round match at Blue Square South Dorchester this Saturday.

Dorchester knocked out holders Stevenage in the first round and Daish is well aware of the threat posed by the West Country side.

Chris McPhee (hamstring) is the Kent club's only injury doubt.

Fleet go into the game at Avenue Stadium on the back of an impressive run which has seen them pick up 10 points in their last four Blue Square Premier games.

Daish said: "We’re pleased to be in the Trophy. We can go down there, keep our run going and keep building momentum. It’s a game we can go into, be confident in front of goal and hopefully progress.

"We want to do that as we treat the Trophy, like all the competitions we’re in, seriously."
