Fleet boss: no let up this season

DAISH: "...the players have another year's experience under their belt"

Ebbsfleet United v Northwich Victoria

FLEET manager Liam Daish has admitted his side cannot bask in past glories ahead of Saturday's Blue Square Premier opener at home to Northwich.

Daish led the Fleet to within touching distance of the Conference play-offs and a place in the Football League on limited resources last season.

The Fleet boss is not one to shirk any task and though his side have already been written off by so-called pundits, he will use that lack of respect as a tool for motivation.

Daish conceded: "We achieved a great deal last season and it will be hard to match that.

"In our favour is the fact that the players have another year's experience under their belt and they know what the league's about."
