ANKLE INJURY: Charlie MacDonald

Exeter City v Gravesend & Northfleet

GRAVESEND manager Liam Daish is hopeful top scorer Charlie MacDonald will be fit to face Exteter City in ther Nationwide Conference on Saturday.

The in-form striker picked up an ankle injury in training on New Year's Day, but the Fleet boss expects him to make the trip to Devon.

However, the Fleet will definitely have to do without Jay Saunders and Jimmy Jackson, who are missing through injury and illness.

Daish is also hoping to re-sign defender Brett Johnson in time for the game.

Second-placed Exeter will be looking to complete a home and away win double against Gravesend after winning 2-0 at Stonebridge Road on the opening day.
