Accountancy firm wins pensions award

BAKER Tilly has been named Pension Scheme Accountants of the year, beating a host of Big Four and other mid-tier firms.

An independent panel of judges at the UK Pensions Awards voted for the firm, which has offices in Tunbridge Wells and Bromley, ahead of professional competitors including KPMG, Grant Thornton and PwC.

The award, hosted by Professional Pensions magazine, was made at a dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

"Our success in the pensions arena is testament to the highly skilled, dynamic team at Baker Tilly, one that is going out to the marketplace with new solutions for this ever-changing, highly complex marketplace."

Baker Tilly Pensions Group advises over 1000 pension funds with assets of up to £7billion.
