THE pharmacy at Sheppey’s new community hospital will be run by the Delmergate chain and is due to open on January 20.

Members of the Swale Primary Care Trust’s board were told the pharmacy group had already won the licence for the running the business andthe move would represent good value for the trust.

Vino Patel, company secretary of the Delmergate chain, said he hoped the pharmacy would open on January 20 once the final details had been settled.

Delmergate has eight branches in Kent, including one at St George’s Avenue, Sheerness.
