Don't miss chance for free help

THERE are less than two weeks left to sign up for the must-attend event for Kent businesses interested in developing skills and increasing profit.

The Complete Business Advice Day is free and will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 and 6 at the Ramada Hotel and Resort, near Maidstone.

So far more than 600 companies have signed up for the event, which is hosted by Business Link Kent. It offers many workshops aiming to help people increase skills and knowledge, and discover the latest technologies.

There is also one-to-one business advice and the chance to meet successful entrepreneurs such as Nigel Busbridge, from Folkestone coach company Buzzlines, and Stuart Butler-Gallie and Robert Dodgson, from Kings Hill-based Vertex Law.

Keynote speakers include multi-millionaire Kevin Morley, former managing director of Rover, which was worth £5 billion when he left in 1992. He then went on to set up his own advertising agency which grew to be one of the largest in Europe.

Carole Black, events manager for Business Link Kent, said: "This is probably one of the best networking opportunities with more than 1,200 businesses expected to attend throughout the two days."

Booking is advisable as some sessions are by ticket only.
