A growing hi-tech computer firm has created eight jobs - with the promise of more to come.

Entity Group, an information management software and solutions specialist, based at Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, has taken on the extra staff to manage its increasing workload from UK and overseas.

The company has also leased an additional 1,100 sq ft of office space, boosting its accommodation by a third.

Chief executive officer Chris Finlay said: "To cope with demand we have had to add technical, consulting and project management headcount to our business. We have expanded the business by eight people so far but have plans to grow further."

Its project pipeline was worth £1.7m and was increasing rapidly, he said.

Entity's services have been in demand from finance, insurance, education, government and healthcare organizations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Abu Dhabi and South Aftrica.

KSP site director James Speck welcomed Entity's expansion, saying it was typical of activity across the park which is now home to 60 businesses and 1,200 jobs.
