Four earn their tax titles

EXAMINATIONS held by the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Taxation Technicians have been passed by Miss S Mills and Mrs D S Williamson from Rochester, Miss I M Hare from Gillingham and Miss M Westmacott from Chatham.

The Chartered Institute of Taxation is the leading body solely concerned with taxation and members of the Institute include accountants, lawyers, tax specialists and civil servants. Its members work in industry, commerce, the public and private sectors and the taxation authorities.

The formation of the Association of Taxation Technicians was sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the association provides the qualification Taxation Technician.
