Monopoly may feature Kent names

PORT Lympne Wild Animal Park and the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway could soon be up for sale and are unlikely to cost more than £1,200 in total. But the cash will be look-alike money and anyone planning to make an investment will be relying on the roll of the dice.

The makers of the Monopoly board game are creating a Kent edition and the company visited Folkestone High Street to ask shoppers in the town centre which landmarks in the district they would like to see made famous on the toy shelves later this year.

The game's creators are already considering Canterbury Cathedral, the White Cliffs of Dover and Leeds Castle as potential features.
