PUBLIC relations agency PFPR Communications is to promote Europe’s fastest motor racing circuit.

The agency, based in Turkey Mill, Maidstone, has been hired to help establish Rockingham as one of the Continent’s leading venues for motor sport, business and entertainment.

Rockingham, in Corby, Northamptonshire, specialises in speedway. It is the UK’s only purpose-built motor sport facility, and has seating for 52,000 spectators.

The venue also includes conference and banqueting facilities and an 80-acre all-weather outdoor exhibition showground.

Other services are corporate driving events, vehicle manufacturer track and venue hire, driver training, individual driving experiences and motor racing events.

State of the art PFPR client services manager Peter Cox will lead the account team.

He said: "The new owners and management of Rockingham are keen to ensure the venue realises its significant commercial potential.

"They are already investing heavily in additional facilities, the first of which includes new state-of-the-art wet grip facility for the automotive industry."

PFPR’s client list includes the Chrysler Group, Ferrari, Maserati and Mazda.
