A CANTERBURY woman has landed a senior position with cross-Channel ferry company P&O Stena Line. Rhian Hopkins, 30, of Grays Way has been promoted to senior national account manager.

She has worked in the industry for 12 years, most recently as a manager in the marketing and sales department. Mrs Hopkins' new role will include building business relationships between the company and other businesses, including the AA, Saga and Shell, to create special offers for customers.

Mrs Hopkins said: "This is a fresh challenge which I'm really looking forward to. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people and to use my marketing experience in a new sales environment."
